Wissota 911 Skate Sharpener Warranty Policy
Limited one year product warranty:
Your Wissota Model 911 Skate Sharpener is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase when used in accordance with Wissota’s user manuals. This warranty is valid for all machines purchased directly from Wissota or from an authorized Wissota dealer.
If a defect arises during the warranty period, Wissota, at its option will either repair the machine at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or exchange the machine with a new one. Machines that have been repaired or replaced will be covered by this warranty for the longer of thirty days after being shipped back to you, or the remainder of the original one year warranty period.
To make a warranty claim please contact us directly over phone or email (firstname.lastname@example.org, 952-417-6611). A valid dated proof of purchase from Wissota or an authorized Wissota dealer is required. Upon receipt and approval of your warranty claim, we will assign you a return material authorization number (RMA). At your risk and expense, you must deliver or ship the defective product along with your RMA to Wissota.
Products returned without an RMA will not be offered warranty service, and you will be liable for all costs incurred by us in connection with servicing the unauthorized return.
All warranty claims must be made during the one year warranty period. The limited warranty does not cover physical damage sustained from improper handling during shipping. This limited warranty will be void and does not apply to any product that was (a) used, handled, operated, maintained, or stored improperly, or in any manner not in accordance with our user manuals or maintenance procedures; (b) subjected to unusual physical or electrical stress; (c) subjected to abuse, misuse, accident, or neglect; (d) exposed to moisture, flooding, fire, operation at temperatures below freezing, or electrical problems associated with incoming power or other acts not the fault of Wissota; (e) repaired or modified by anyone other than Wissota; or (f) used with parts or accessories that were not certified or approved by Wissota to be used on our machines.
Wissota’s limited warranty does not include coverage or liability for the loss or damage to any ice skates or ice skate blades that have been used on a Wissota machine. Wissota is not responsible for the costs associated with the inaccessibility of your Wissota Skate Sharpener during the service period in connection with any warranty claims.
Returns & repairs
If you purchased a Wissota Skate Sharpener or any other Wissota product directly from Wissota Skate Sharpeners and are not completely satisfied with the product for any reason, you can return the product within thirty days of the purchase date. In order to make a return, the product must be promptly sent back to Wissota in the original packaging and must be in the same condition that you received it, with reasonable wear and tear accepted.
To make a return please contact us over email or phone (email@example.com, 952-417-6611) to receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) and shipping instructions. The product must be delivered to Wissota within ten days after receiving your RMA. Once the product has been received we will contact you regarding your return approval, and if approved we will reimburse you for the price you paid for the returned product (less a 20% re-stocking fee and excluding all shipping costs) within thirty days from the date we received the return.
You can exchange any Wissota Skate Sharpener or other Wissota product that HAS NOT BEEN USED within thirty days of the purchase date. In order to be eligible for an exchange, the product must be promptly returned to us, and the product must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. To make an exchange please contact us over email or phone (firstname.lastname@example.org, 952-417-6611) to receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) and shipping instructions. The product must be delivered to Wissota within ten days of receiving your RMA in order to be eligible for an exchange. Once the product has been received we will contact you regarding your exchange approval, and if approved we will exchange your Wissota product for any new Wissota product of equal or lesser value.
Our return and exchange policy lasts thirty days from the date the product was purchased. If we are not contacted within thirty days of the purchase date regarding a return or exchange, we will be unable to provide an RMA and a refund or exchange will not be offered. We may also refuse a return or exchange if the product is not delivered to us within ten days after you receive your RMA. Returns are not available for certain consumable goods (grinding wheels, diamond dressers, hand honing stones, felt wear pads, and skate sharpening wax) if they have been used. Products shipped to us without an authorized RMA will not be eligible for an exchange or refund.
You are responsible for all shipping costs when sending a product to Wissota for a return or exchange, as well as any loss or damage that occurs during shipping. We will not offer a refund or exchange for any Wissota product lost or damaged in transit.
